SORRENTO:(population
18.000) beautiful seaside resort, overlooking the gulf of

Walking through the alley-streets or the main square, you can

woodwork for which the town is famous. Also, Sorrento is
well-known for the oranges and lemons groves that you can see
everywhere in the town, The sweet-smelling of these groves,
together with the beauty of the sea and the landscape, has

Surriento" (COME BACK TO SORRENTO). Leaving Sorrento, we start
the slope that in ten minutes will take us to the southern
shore of the Peninsula, Once there, we start the first bends,
our eyes goes to the little group of islands, called " LI
GALLI". The legend of these islands goes back to the Greek
mythology, in fact, in the Odyssey by Homer, they are.
